Happy 35 Months, Rachel.
Believe it or not, she will be 3 years old in exactly another 1 month. At this current point of time, i wld like to praise her for her usage in English. She trys. She has been communicating with me in English the past few weeks, though her vocab is still not that strong. What i mean she still has Mandarin mixed into her sentence when she doesnt know what word to use. Not that i mind. In fact, its very cute to hear her speaking that way.
Some examples: ..mummy, come to the room. ...come up the bed. ...read this book. ...open the light. ...who is this 老公公? ...i want to see 电视/TV. ...raining 了, take 雨伞. I do guide her along in the correct usage of words as well.
I must give credit to the school & my sils for speaking to her in English & teaching her the correct way to pronounce. :)
Who hasnt had bad/negative points! Rachel can be a little spitfire at times too. And defintely fierce. She bit (bite) her brother when she cldnt hv what she wants & especially when her brother refuse to give it to her. She is sturborn too. The more u tell her she is not allow to climb or snatch or run, the more she will do it. Either she thinks that its funny, or she's just trying to get hold of your attention. Oh well!
Rachel, mummy wants to say that you cannot always have your way. You have to learn to give & take. Hopefully, this bad habit will decrease soonest possible.
