GUG lesson 7

I was slightly late for class today cos the taxi driver gt no small change when mummy gave him a $50 note. He has to get change from another taxi driver & hence the delay.

Class has already started when i went into the classroom. Today is Teacher Aze & Teacher Fairuz. We learned the # 9. Teacher Fairuz drew 9 watermelons on the board. I too had a watermelon on my dress. ( i gt a strawberry, pineapple, watermelon & an apple on my dress...oppss...out of topic).

Willy Weasle joined us today. W W W Weasel. The sound of W is what we learned, together with words like water, wheel, wet, watch & watermelon.

For story telling, cant remember the title but its abt a wombat. Another word dat begins with W.

For craft work, we each had a cut out board of the letter W. We took coloured glue and we go DOWN UP DOWN UP - the strokes of the letter W. Then we were given edible wheel crackers to decorate our W. And of cos, we pop a few crackers into our mouth as well. Teacher Fairuz was so funny. She demostrated hw to decorate the W with the crackers & she goes: " One for the W & one for my mouth..." ( she really pop the crackers into her mouth).

And we had our confidence builder as well. We sang to a song of : " The Cuckoo Clock. Our parents had to swing us up high when the clock strikes :" cuckoo cuckoo". Its a tiring time for Mummys but its fun for us kiddos. Hee..

And not forgetting our music lessons & as well as bubble time.

GUG lesson 6

I missed lesson 5 cos Mummy was not feelin well dat afternoon. But if u remember our previous posts, we actually went to Esplanade dat evening. Haha, tok abt not feelin well eh, Mummy?

Today, we learned the # 11 & together with the letters U & V. U for under, umbrella & V for vase. Teacher Aze passed mummy a form to remind her dat the next term fees is payable by 07 Dec. Oh no....

For artwork, we dapped our hands into some foam spray, mixed with colours and then cover the mess with a piece of white paper. So that the paper will hv our "mess" creation. Teacher Devi & Teacher Aze warned dat the foam is not supposed to be taken but of cos, some of my frens put their hands into their mouths, tinking its cream. Quick quick, wet tissues to the rescue. And of cos, not to mention, some of their clothes also become rainbow wear. Especially those wearing white, u noe what i mean.

For story, the title was " The tadpoles looking for their Mother". Hmmm, i hv read tis story in the chinese version b4. “小蝌蚪找妈妈”Its abt the little tadpoles looking for their Mummy and each time when they meet some other animals, they asked if he/she is their mummy and hw the animals will in turn describe hw the tadpoles' mummy look like. She is actually a frog la. Tadpoles will turn into frogs when they grow big. Finally, the tadpoles found their Mummy.

And oh, here's a little joke. Me & 2 others were lying on the mat while Teacher Devi were teaching & she asked if we were sun tanning. The way she asked & her expression was very funny lor and all the other parents laughed.

Mummy says i am always the bulk of jokes cos i always do funny things and of cos, they are adorable actions.

The bride & bridegroom - Karen & Shawn

Dun be mistaken by my looks. i am not sad.

The entertainers.

Full house.
22 Nov 2008, we attended a wedding @ CHIJMES. 我们是女方这一边. The bride, Karen is Mummy's 表姨 or izit? She is Mummy's Daddy's cousin. But how is Mummy's daddy - 外公 related leh cos different surname leh. 外公 surname is Too. Karen's surname is Lim. On the other hand,Mummy's surname changed also cos 外婆 remarried. So the so-called relative relation also a distance further. Aiya, complicated relations la. 老一代 or 老一辈的称呼,妈妈也搞不清楚. Oh btw, 表姨妈(we called her dat rite? i mean us kids generation) is even younger than mummy leh, and mummy has to call her 表姨. Haha.. sorry lor, mummy ang mo pai one, called by name can liao.
The lunch was a seven course lunch ( hw come 7 course one? Usually its either 8 or 9 ma) - cold dish combination - 冷盘, shark fins, roast chicken, steam fish, tiger prawns, fried noodles & cheng teng for dessert.
We arrived CHIJMES at abt 11am plus and only went back at abt 4pm plus. Why we go so early is becos they are having the wedding solemnisation as well. Plus the whole ceremony only started after 1230hrs iso of the stated 12 noon.
Again Daddy was unable to attend due to work, so Mummy bot me & Rachel along.

Night view of the Merlion

Water play

Night scene of the Esplanade
**Before i start, mummy wanna make a disclaimer. The above fotos were took using mummy's hp cos she forgot to bring the camera. We were in a rush. Pardon the poor quality of the pics.
Last night, Daddy took us for an outing to the Esplanade. Mummy has just finished bathing when we came back home. Daddy told Mummy we are gg to the Esplanade so can mummy pls pack the neccessary stuff. Daddy bath for the 2 of us while Mummy packed. In a haste. mummy forgot to pack in the camera as well. Mummy asked Daddy why so rush? Daddy say there's something wrong in his project so he nids to go down to hv a look.
Okay...here's a little intro. If u hv been down to Esplanade, right under the bridge, you wld hv seen water mist at certain times of the day. Tis in conjunction with the Singapore Arts Festival. Its also part of Daddy's project, together with PICO. Daddy runs the electrical wiring & water hoses.
So last night was the last night & there was a little problem. Apparently, there has been a water leakage for quite some time. Anyway, it will be dismantled tomorrow so Daddy kinda bo chup! You can see from the above pics hw we love running in & out of the mist. Some people thot its poisonous gas as though the NEA were doing some mozzie spray. But when they realised its only water, they also stopped to see, feel, take fotos & run ard.
We met up with Daddy's fren from PICO; Uncle Ang Yong Hwee. His family were also with him. So all of us went for dinner together @ the No Signboard Restaurant. I ate a bowl of fried rice & prawns but Rachel wldnt eat more than a mouthful of rice. End up she only ate 3 man tou. The bill came up to more than $200 +.
After dinner, we went across to see the Merlion. And we mess ard & hv a little water fight. Mummy was all wet. Why? Cos Daddy carried Rachel & together they splashed water onto Mummy while she was trying to take fotos. Haha... I of cos joined in the fun as well. So Mummy says might as well all get wet. Luckily for us, Mummy packed extra clothings for us so that we can changed into dry ones.
Uncle Ang video took some of us & our actions. Wonder will he sent the pics to Mummy. Will u, uncle Ang?

Happy 16 Months

A Walk With Nature

The pair of notties

Lionel & Rachel

Stopping by to see the rabbits

The neighbourhood Xmas tree

Early xmas?

Admist the wild mushrooms

Wild & Free

Mushrooms or Fungus?

Eating Bao

Don't look at me like that. Tis mine bao.

The Groovy Dance
We had a walk with Mummy & Mother Nature tis morning. Not the real nature walk but around our neighourhood rather. Nothing special. Just another ordinary Sunday morning, bustling with people doing their marketing.
Both of us walked hand in hand at times or as requested by Mummy. (Mummy: Its so adorable to see them holding hands). But we do pulled away from each other also if something catches our attention. We passed by a huge xmas tree, bare, tall & mighty. Someone's forgotten to dress it up. Or maybe its still early for xmas.
We saw wild mushrooms along the roadside. Mummy says it might be poisonous so she forbid us to touch them. But they are so pretty. And they grow so wild & free; born free. (Mummy: Tis phrase sounds familiar...Born Free...where did i hear before?)
Back to the shop where we had our tea - Char Siew Bao.
