She came back home last evening & shouted happily that she got new earrings. I thought its js one of those stickers that she loved sticking on her ears as though they were her earrings. But when she showed me her ears last night, i was shocked cos those were actually dangling earrings & it looked so real as if they were pierced right thru her ears.
I cldnt believe my eyes & to top it up, her cousin V shouted in glee that she gt her ears pierced too! When i asked her (V) who brought them to do the piercing, she replied da yi ( R's da gu). I was speechless & immediately called up da gu to check why the hell on earth did she bring Rachel to have her ears pierced at such a young age & of all types, chose to put on dangling ones on her as well. I wasnt happy about it. ( cos when i mentioned the previous time of me wanting to get Rachel's ears pierced, everyone opposed immediately. " ...not at such a young age;... u better not;... crazy ar u;...". Da gu was one of those who opposed)
On clarification, Rachel did not have her ears pierced. Its clearly one of those "masak masak" games they were playing. On closer examination by Daddy, we found out its js one of those "clip on types" where you can js clipped the earrings onto your ears. But these dangling earrings that we saw hv a ring type which was actually pressed against the ears on the front & back so that it looked as if they were pierced through.
Its hard to explain here. I will try to get pics of those earrings & with Rachel wearing them. On the other hand, she sure looks pretty with these earrings on. She even wore them out when we went to Suntec in the evening to get Daddy's long awaited N97 Nokia handphone which he got it for free.
Updates as of 20/6 @ 1.29pm: This was the type of earrings Rachel wore when she came home the other night. If you looked closely, you can see a little spring-like gadget which you can actually push open.
