A Talk with Lionel

Not a serious talk but just some small talk about Lionel attending Primary One the year after. You see, we were on our home after his art class & were onboard a bus. This bus happens to pass by a Primary School which i told Lionel that i would be registering him into next year.

We had a small discussion on whether he would be taking a school bus (which i do not feel it neccessary) or the feeder bus. This primary school takes only about a 5 - 8 mins walk from home & its also only about 3 mins walk from where Lionel is currently studying (his kindergarten). Which means to say, it is very nearby the hardware shop where my ils are. (own family business)

So if Lionel were to take a feeder bus ( as i was showing him last evening), he can board this bus from the bus stop outside his school & then alights at the bus stop outside OCBC. My sil can then wait for him at OCBC to walk him back to the shop. Or if she prefers, she can also walked to the school & wait for him outside the gates instead.

Discussions are way under but not too much in details yet. Another year to go before we hit on another round.

So Lionel was asking me how to go about taking the feeder bus. I told him most prob i will be there on his 1st few days in school or 1st few weeks to show & guide him thru. That way, he will feel safer & not panick. I will also show him how to walk back to the shop. If need be, he can always run back to his current school for help. (i'm sure the teachers would not forget their students in a hurry).

OMG! I cant believed he's attending Primary School soon. Kids really grow up way too fast.

On a side note: Lionel's bottom front tooth wiggled its way out last week. Now he has 2 missing teeth. I fear all his teeth will dropped even before he attends primary School. At the rate he's eating sweets................grrrr!!!
