Flavourable Reply

Remembered i mentioned that there was no hotel booking upon my arrival in Langkawi during my recent trip back in Sep.

I wrote a long complaint letter to Air Asia & got a flaourable reply from them. It seems that the hotel overlooked on the reservation & ended up in a miscommunication with their guest (me). According to Air Asia, its a confirmed booking but the hotel "misplaced" the so called booking.

Their flavourable reply: Would be refunding the amount i requested for & another complimentary night @ Bayview for our future stay. That's a nice gesture. However, i will not know when i will be returning back to Langkawi. That's a sad thought though.

The refund process would take approx 30-60 working days, depending on the bank's cycle.

Taking this opportunity to thank Air Asia & Bayview Langkawi for all their help rendered via email though it did cost me a stressful moment on that 1st day.

But as the saying goes: " Once bitten, Twice shy. " So the thought of making a reservation thru Air Asia again.................
