Mummy & Rachel @ Night Safari
Photo with the giant sea lion .
Yesterday, 05 Apr, Granny bot us kids to the zoo & night safari. We reached the zoo at about 2pm & saw that there is an elephant show @ 3pm, so we made our way to the site.
But it began to drizzle & we were wondering whtr the show wld be called off anot due to weather conditions. But luckily, God saw hw eager the crowd was & helded back the rain. But towards the ending part of the show, the rain came in strong & heavy. Everyone got stuck. Luckily the seating area was sheltered, otherwise, all of us wld be drenched. Waiting...waiting...still the rain wldnt stop...sianz liao lor...there is another show @ Splash Amphitheatre; show on penguins, sea lions, walrus, etc... Its already 4.30pm, hw to go? Well, Mummy says its only a drizzle now; better leave b4 its too late again. So with Rachel inside her pram with the canopy over her to prevent her from gettin wet, and Mummy pushing the pram along, Granny & me sharing an umbrella, we made our way to the amphitheatre.
Bright sunlight, rain stopped. Kaoz! But as the seats were wet with the heavy rain js now, there were no place to really sit down. So end up we just stood around watching the show But then leh, the stupid ranger came & ask us & all those around to sit down. "but the seats are all wet, where to sit, u tell me" Mummy shoot. The ranger apologises & told us to try finding some dry spots. As if there are. Hmmmph!
We sat on the 1st row not realising there will be some suprises given to us later on. We didnt hear the annoucement. We are really in for it. The show started with the sea lion making its appearance. Flippers! Splash! Wet! Thanks for the showers of blessings! God have given it to us prior. Thanks again.
So Granny, Mummy & myself got wet; head to toe. Only Rachel remained dry as the canopy was still over her. But then leh, the stroller wasnt water proof but the strong sun soon dry the stroller.
We left the zoo for dinner & make our way to night safari. We took the tram ard the premises & saw quite a no of night creatures. Rachel fell asleep on the tram. After the ride, we went to watched the night show @ 8.30pm. Wow! Full house! There were some excitment created as part of the show. Dun wanna tell u folks wat happen. Go to night safari & see for urself. Hint: Choose ur seats properly, otherwise a big & scary surprises awaits you. ( not for the faint hearted ) For those of you who hv been to night safari, then you shd know wat surprise i meant. Haha...
It was slightly after 10pm when we reached home. Zzzzzzz....
