Water Play - Video

This Mummy hor...jialat one leh...always like to backdate events...Xmas was like 4 days ago le, now then post our pics. But at least she does la...we forgive her..hehe.
On Xmas Day, we went to Vivo City. There were lots & lots of people. We waited like almost half an hr b4 we managed to find a parking lot. Then we went to the food court for our dinner. After that, we head straight to the wading pool for kids. Mummy say inside too many people...nothing to buy also, so let us kids enjoy instead. Mummy wanted to take fotos of the Xmas light ups but nt very attractive leh.
Mummy also took video shots of me & Rachel enjoying ourselves at the wading pool but somehow, Mummy unable to upload the video onto you tube...she will try again.
6 in 1 Vacination
Today, Mummy bring me & Kor Kor to the polyclinic for my 6 in 1 jab. Weight & height taken. Doc says me on the small side, nvrtheless, healthy. :)
Kor Kor naughty. Daddy buy fishball for him to eat. He drop one on the floor & wanted to pick up & eat. Daddy took it & throw away. Kor Kor threw his temper & scream. Daddy warned Kor Kor to be good & keep quiet.
Daddy: " Finish eating your fishball!"
Kor Kor (crying): " i want that fishball (pointing to the one thrown away in the dustbin)"
Daddy: No. That's dirty already. You have another 2 here. Eat these & sit down"

An Xmas Present
This above gift is a xmas present to me (Lionel) from Ah Tan 伯母. I find this gift very unique & ask Mummy to share with everyone on the blog.
Clockwise: a little flower with a stalk & base ( top center), mummy unwrapped the gift & expose a red base ( right), the red base is a Smarties container with smarties choco inside of cos (below, center) & lastly, wat made up the gift is a ferrero rocher choco as the flower bud, smarties choco as the base & dove choco as the stalk. (left)
Each candy plays a role in building up this unique present. And of cos nt forgetting the green tape dat wraps the stalk to give the green look & the 2 little leaves.

Rachel flipped
Yeah...i finally finally flipped for Mummy to see. Just now while at 姑婆's place, i flipped once for Mummy to see & also hold my head up with the support of hands on the bed. Mummy was so happy that she praised me..hehe..
Mummy: I didnt expect Rachel to flipped. Its really unexpected! She was reaching out for her little bag and ....tadan...she flipped. Somehow, both her hands were tuck beneath her tummy, so i helped pull out her hands. She immediately push herself up & held her head up high, Though nt entirely 90 degrees but its at least a 45 degrees up. Bravo! Swell! Cool! Well Done Rachel. Mummy so proud of you.

娃娃排排坐
Today is PH. I gt up early. Daddy & Rachel still sleeping so i gt my stuff toys to play ard with. I stand them straight, one by one on the bed head. i hv winnie the pooh, tigger, piglet, froggie, penguin, nemo, bear bear...Opps..caught by Mummy on the camera...hehe1st Cereal
Mummy gave me my 1st cereal tasting session last nite. Yummy! I love it. I couldnt hv enuff of it & yearns for more after i hv finished. Mummy says i cannot eat too much. So currently Mummy will only give me the cereal twice a day; lunch & dinner cos Mummy says milk is still my main meal.I love to grab the spoon & thus causing the cereal to spill over. End up, i am sticky & wet all over. Mummy is too....haha...That's the fun part of eating cereal.

Little Footprints School House.
This morning Mummy bring me to Little Footprints Schoolhouse for some submission of documents, to buy my uniform & to pay the school fees. If you remember, i will be starting pre nursery class next Jan 2008. My sch hrs is from morning 8.30am to abt 12 noon.
The uniform is yellow with checkered collar & matching checkered shorts. Mummy bot 2 sets.
Total $$ spent:
refundable deposit $275 (if the parents decide to pull their kids out or till end of sch term as in end of K2)
unifom (2 sets) $36 - $18 per set
progress book $5
insurance $3
school fees $200
lunch (per mth basis) $40. Mummy say i can try for 1 mth first. If i dun like can always cancel.

Mummy broke le...everything increasing but not salary. Haiz!!
Rachel's Habit
Mummy: Recently, according to my aunt, rachel can finish all 4 oz of milk, mixed with brown rice & after finishing, another 1 oz of porridge water. ( wat do u call dat? the clear water when u cook porridge). She can also flip by her own le...but my aunt unable to capture her action on camera cos either rachel is too fast or she flip once only. My aunty hv the camera on standby, ready to capture her whenever she flip but always not able to.
But when rachel comes home during the weekend, 1) she doesnt finish her milk (maybe its becos i didnt mixed with brown rice) 2) she doesnt flip, no matter how i encourage her to do so.
Arrrgggghhhh.....
But at the shop hor (my in laws') according to my mil, rachel finish her milk wor...all 4 oz. My mil also nvr mix with brown rice leh...funny.
Rachel also starting to recognize people & place. She wldnt let my cousins carry nor enter their house. She wld start crying the moment i carry her into their house. Sentosa Fun - 09 Dec Sunday
Firstly..wld like to apologise for the delay in our blog updating...why...cos Mummy lor...either she too lazy, cant be bothered or well...busy. Watever the reason, we hope you bear with us. Tks ya.
Last Sunday, we all went to Sentosa for some fun. But hor....老天爷不做美. It was like raining on & off the whole morning. We went to Tanjong Beach cos Aunty Sarah says that area is not so crowded compared to other popular beaches like Siloso Beach or Palawan Beach. Aunty Sarah says we were to go early so that we can "chopped" a very good spot.
We went ard 8 plus in the morning. Upon arrival, we unpacked the stuff & the fun begins. We stayed at the beach area, dipping into the waters every now & then, But as i said, the weather doesnt quite agree with our play & "cries" on & off. Spoils everybody's mood. We left the beach at around 1 plus in the afternoon. I felt asleep in the car on the way back.

Grasshopper VS Bees
Mummy bot these 2 bees from MacDonalds Happy Meal. A free toy with every meal purchased. The one on the left is Jackson & Adam is on the rite. Am i rite? The 2nd pic is a grasshopper. Given to me by one of the suppliers. Thank you Uncle. (dunno the name). Hehe..
Mummy says the grasshopper cannot keep for long cos its made up of real leaf and will rot if kept for too long. Might hv smell also. So quickly take a foto for remembrance sake. Whereas for the 2 bees, can keep as long as i like. Haha...

Scared
Mummy: i got a scare this morning. My aunt called to inform me Rachel, my girl, almost fainted just now. She just finished her milk & my aunt had already burped her twice. Tinking she might want to sleep, my aunt put her down on the bed & went to wash the milk bottle.
My cousin shouted for her mum, saying Rachel vomitted milk all over. My aunt rushed in & found Rachel staring blankly & did not respond to my aunt at all. Usually she did. My aunt sense something is not right & immediately put her mouth to Rachel's nose & suck out the remaining milk. Right after she did, Rachel let out a loud cry.
My aunt bought her down to the PD to have a check up. She wanna make sure everything is well with Rachel. The PD did a tough check up on Rachel & assure my aunt all is well. Rachel is back to her normal self; can play & vocalise as usual.
According to the PD, Rachel might have choked on her milk & thus vomitted all over, but becos she was lying down, the milk went into her airway thru her nose, thus causing her to have difficulty in breathing.
I called hubby & since he was just nearby, he went in to see Rachel. She is alright now. I told my aunt to monitor Rachel, even when she is sleeping. My aunt say she will do it, even if i did not ask her to. Thank god my aunt is experience, else i wouldnt know what to do.

15 - 18 Nov Bangkok
Mummy went to Bangkok on the 15 - 18 Nov via Swiss Air. Tis time round, Mummy didnt took much fotos as all time was spent on shopping, shopping & more shopping. Bangkok is a shopper's paradise ma. Most of the things Mummy bot are all at 199 Baht = SGD $8-9; less than $10.
Places Mummy went are like Chatuchak Market, River Cruise, The Wholesale market, (dunno exact name cos Ah Tan 伯母 bring them around one). Ah Tan 伯母 is a Thai local, married to Ah Hian 伯伯. Why we called her Ah Tan cos her actual Thai name is too long & difficult for us to pronounce. As she is a Thai chinese, so 伯伯 say we call her Ah Tan 伯母can le. 2 full days of shopping, of cos including the ever famous Pratunam & MBK.
Mummy bot alot of stuff like clothes, sandals, pants, watches, pouchs, bags, etc etc... Tis Mummy hor...spent like no 2moro. Shop non stop, save on food but not save on shopping. Aiyo, 1 light lugagge go, 2 heavy luggage come back. But funny leh, never exceed max lugagge weight allowance of 20kg. Thank you Mummy for also buying mine & Rachel's clothes. ( If tis Mummy nvr buy for us hor....)
But Mummy say she bot the least liao. 丽娇姑姑 , 锦娇姑姑 & her fren; Siew Kee 啊姨bot like no 2moro also lor. Gosh. Mummy says we should see their stuff. Mummy will post the stuff she bot later.

About 20 mins drive from Don Muang International Airport (the old one), sits this wondeful, cosy litle restaurant called The Local. Serving Thai Ala Carte menu, every food is so delicious. Tom Yum Seafood Soup, Thai fried fish, Thai Fish Cake, Fried rice, etc... They can even see fireworks display, but very far away lor. So Mummy nvr take any fotos cos she say, sure very small one, not nice lor,

04 Nov - PCF Chong Pang Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony
Mummy: At the open field in front of blk 126, (for those of u living in yishun area, u will know), there was a carnival going on on 04 Nov, last Sun. Free balloons, pop corns, kiddie rides & gifts. It was also the PCF Chong Pang Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony where all the little kids put up performances.
How come i took fotos of their performances when its none related to my 2 kids. Cos i find them super adorable & some of them really know how to dance & shake their body to the rhythm of the music. 4 yrs down the road, maybe my boy will be up on stage, performing just like they do. And 6 yrs down the road, maybe my ger will also.....Hahahhaha.... Tink so far!

Rachel's New Clothes from 外婆
This are the new clothings 外婆 bought for Rachel. It might look big now but it should be soon when 妹妹 can wear them. My one....i was so eager to wear them last night that i didnt bother that Mummy hasnt wash them. So its in the washing machine now, waiting to hv a rinse. Haha!

Bathtime
Tis few fotos taken by Mummy when i was having a bath. Mummy thot me to bath myself; rub soap & rinse properly since i big liao. I also learning to toilet train now. No more pampers for me in the daytime. Am ask to inform the adults whenever i need to pee or poo. But of cos lor, sometimes accidents do happen; trial & error ma. Hehe. Gradually, i will learn & get the hang of it.
Yesterday, went to celebrate 外婆's birthday. Actually, her birthday falls on Nov 08 but we celebrated early. Mummy didnt take any fotos cos she 4got to bring the camera. Anyway, its just a mini celebration. We went to eat at a restaurant; Yuan Xing （源兴）Teochew Restaurant at Bendemeer Road. The service was damn bad lor. We found hair inside one of the dishes but the waitress didnt even apologise & tried to cover up instead. Terrible service! To those of you intending to eat there, NEVER! 外婆 bought for me & Rachel some clothings. Mummy will post the fotos later.

Drawing
Mummy: i found out that my boy loves drawing. He grabs any piece of paper & pen he can lay his hands on & start "drawing". Circles after circles & he can tell u those are fishes. (his version) hahahah. He will also ask u to draw for him things like helicopter, ambulance, police car, mrt, train, car; all kinds if vehicles, nt forgetting animals like sheep, pig, tortise, etc...
He will climb onto the table to grab a piece of A4 copy paper to scribble. I always tell him nt to touch anything on the table since hb & i kept all our work on it. Pieces after pieces of A4 paper he can grab....cannot la...waste $$$. So i took some recycled paper from my office to let him draw.
Everyday without fail, he would never get tired...drawing after drawing. Sometimes he will take the crayons to draw also. Luckily he never draw on the wall, else i faint. But hor, my cream color sofa...sooner or later, will be covered by his pen ink. Why, cos he put the paper on the sofa to draw...(faint)!!!

6 in 1 Vacination
Mummy brought me to Yishun Polyclinic for my vacination today. She chose the 6 in 1 vacin pkg, costing $326.10. I gt a "poke" on my right thigh which made me cry out loud, but only for a few secs la. I'm a brave ger. Mummy says so.
Our appointment was at 8.45am but we were late. We gt there ard 9.15am. After the jab, I was sent to doc's room for my 3 mths physical progress check up. Everything was ok, only my neck still not very strong to stay upright. I tend to tilt slightly backwards but doc say its ok one. Not every baby progress at the same pace. Hehe. Doc say i'm very strong cos i kicked him in his tummy when he bend down to check on me. Hahahahhah!
Oh. One funny thing. The doc was surprised when he undid my pampers & found me to be a ger ger. He say:" Oh, u are a ger, hw come u wearing blue color?" Mummy told him baby wear any color also can ma. Never mind one la. The doc laughed. Alamak! This doc abit goon lor. My name is Rachel Seah Jia Xuan on the identity bar code pasted outside my health booklet. Didnt he see that? Headache la he!

Mummy brought me to the Jurong Bird Park last Sat - 20 Oct. The admission fee is $18 per adt. Children under 3 FOC. We took the panorail, i called it MRT, around the park first & then walked around by foot later. We managed to catch 3 shows; Childen's Parrot Show, Birds n Buddies & Kings of the Skies.
We saw alot of birds such as parrots, hornbills, owls, penguins, flamingoes, eagles, kingfisher & many more. We even went to the Children's playground where they hv both playground & a splash pool. Mummy let me splash ard with the water for a little while cos its hot.

Children's Development Account - CDA
Yeah! Mummy finally opened a CDA for me. Its a cash gift from the government whereby the gov. will match dollar to dollar watever amount Mummy deposit for me, max up to $6K. Means total i will have $12K in my account. This cash gift is on top of the baby bonus of $3K which the gov. gives as well.
Mummy says the $$ to $$ gift may be used for:1) fees @ approved institutions which hv registered with MCYS under the baby bonus scheme, eg: child care centre or MOE registered kindergartens & special education schools, 2) MediShield or Medisave-approved private intergrated plans.
So once i go sch, Mummy can use this $$ to pay for my sch fees or medical related issues. Even Kor Kor can also use this $$.
But Mummy says she will try not to touch this $$ unless really bo pian. I dunno why but Mummy would rather used her own savings to pay for watever i need, or watever Kor Kor requires. Mummy says she will open a joint account for us at a later date. Then all our ang pow $$ can be deposited. It also serves as our savings account.
Nowadays, the banks all have so many different saving & investment plans until Mummy also blur. Even Mummy's insurance agent ask Mummy to use her CPF to invest. And yes, Mummy has earned quite a bit. Thanks to Aunty Candy for monitoring the market & helping Mummy to check her investments on a routine basis.

Ger Ger turns 3 months - backdated to 17 Oct
Rachel turns 3 months already.... See how much she has grown. A truly happy & healthy baby.
Credits to a warm & loving family & environment! (Buay Pai Sey) Ger ger can now giggle & make baby talks. When counting from 1 -10,she will kick & giggle happily when u say 10. She loves it!
And she really loves her daily baths. She likes to kick about in the water & when u tok to her, she will give you her darling little toothless smile - Truly Mummy's Little One!

Botak Jones
Last evening was spent on food hunting 2gether with Daddy & Mummy. After sending rachel to 姑婆's house, we went down to Toa Payoh cos Daddy need to pick up his workers & send them back home. After checking whtr they wanna makan, they say they are meeting frens & wld like to go back first. Mummy say TP has nothing much to eat also, so Daddy sent his workers back.
They lived in Yio Chu Kang. After dropping them off, Daddy drove to Jln Kayu, tinking of having prata since its nearby. Mummy dun feel like eating prata so Daddy suggest trying Indian 煮炒.
Alas! The indian man say no seafood, no curry, nothing...only prata cos all on PH leave. Oh dear! Where to eat now???
Daddy say to go & try AMK Ave 5 Blk 608 - The famous western food - opened by ang moh. BOTAK JONES!!! Wow, the place was very crowded; we gt to wait at least 45mins for our food.
While waiting, Mummy read thru the menu & found it quite interesting. Though its look simple enuff, there are quite abit to read since they decrible each individual dish uniquely. And Mummy like the way they put in jokes here & there to spice up the reading.
To quote a few:
(Mummy actually "kapok" the menu cos....anyway the menu foto copy one & there are alot of them out on the table for anyone to pick up)

A while ago i upgraded GIRLFRIEND 7.0 to WIFE 1.0.1. I soon noticed that the new program began some unexpected organizational and renovation processing that took up a lot of time & valuable resources. In addtion, WIFE 1.0.1 installed herself into all other programs & now monitors all other system activities, such as SURFING 10.3, CLUBBING 7.5 AND RACQUETBALL 3.6. I can't seem to keep WIFE 1.0.1 in the background while attempting to run my other favourite application. i'm thinking about going back to GIRLFRIEND 7.0 but the uninstall doesnt work on WIFE 1.0.1
Please help!

This is a very common problem that men often complain about.
Many people upgrade from GIRLFRIEND 7.0 to WIFE 1.0.1 thinking that it is just utilities & entertainment program. WIFE 1.0.1 is an OPERATING SYSTEM & is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING. It is impossible to delete WIFE 1.0.1 & return to GIRLFRIEND 7.0. It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once installed.
You cannot go back to GIRLFRIEND 7.0 becos WIFE 1.0.1 is designed not to allow this. Look into your WIFE 1.0.1 manual under WARNINGS: ALIMONY & COMMUNITY PROPERTY. I recommend that you just keep WIFE 1.0.1 & work on improving the situation. I suggest installing the background application YES DEAR 2.7 to alleviate your program problems.
The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGISE beacuse utimately you will have to give the APOLOGISE command before the system will return to normal anyway.
WIFE 1.0.1 is a great program but it tends to be very high maintanance. WIFE 1.0.1 does come with several support programs such as CLEAN & SWEEP 3.0, COOK 1.5 & SEX 4.2. However be very careful on how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the perfomance of WIFE 1.0.1 to launch the program NAG NAG 9.5. Once this happens, the only way to improve is to purchase additional software. I recommend FLOWERS 2.1 & DIAMONDS 5.0.
WARNING: Do not under any circumstances install SECRETARY WITH SHORT SKIRT 3.3. This application is not supported by WIFE 1.0.1 & will cause irreversible damage to the operating system.

Tenderly
I received another present yet again. Tis time from Daddy's customer. Thank you. It is actually a hamper set with the usual stuff - pampers, baby wipes, feeding bottles, etc...
Mummy find them common, so dat's y no foto on it. The above set of bb clothes comes 2gether with it. Mummy finds them sweet, so she wanna share with u out there as well. The checkered design reminds Mummy of her kindergarten uniform . (some 20 something years ago...) Hehe.
The brand is Tenderly. I heard Mummy says tis a Malaysian brand. Early tis year during CNY, Kor Kor threw his temper while in Msia. He kicked up a fuss & wouldn't drink his milk. Frustrated, he threw his milk bottle onto the ground & crack, the bottle is damage. So Mummy went to the shopping centre to get a new one - also from Tenderly. Keke.
