We lazed ard in bed & I was wondering where to bring the 2 monkeys to. Daddy had already left for work, so i asked Rachel. She cldnt decide so i asked her to call Lionel who was at ah ma's place. Lionel came rushing up, happy that we were going out. He decided he wanted to see plants, grass, flowers & what's not. So we ended up the Singapore Botanical Gardens.
We took the mrt to Orchard & trsf to bus # 7, stopping opposite Gleneagles Hospital. The gardens was js diagonally across the bus stop - Tanglin Gate

White swan by the Swan Lake...we saw only 3 of themI took a cab, meaning to bring the kids to JBCC cos its too far to walk & under the hot sun. But the taxi driver brought me to the visitors center instead, which was i the middle of the garden. Well, at least we gt our lunch but oh so expensive. For a plate of kids' fried rice & fish & chips, 1 orange juice & aloe vera jelly, i spent S$26 in total. Faint!
There were many dogs all over the garden & at the place where we had lunch, something happened. This little terrier was basking in the sun, with its leash tied ard the chair. A little girl ran past the dog & i tink she didnt notice there was a terrier there, so she stepped right on it. Yelp! she gt bitten on her leg & she ran to her mummy crying. The mummy was furious & asked the owner of the dog if the dog bites. The owner shook her head but the mummy showed the bite on the dotter's leg. The patch ard the bite was red & swollen & there was teeth marks & slight bleeding. Oh dear...the dog owner apologise but i tink no compensation was done. All i saw was that the mummy dabbed a towel in cold water & pressed onto her dotter's leg, in a bid to bring down the swell & added pressure to the bite to stop the bleeding.
We took a cab back & in the cab, both the kids fell asleep. Lionel wanna go back to my ils' shop & Rachel intended to follow me home.
