Mid Year Progress Report 2010

Okay, i gt their mid year progress report for year 2010 last thursday 27 May. It was a Parents Teacher Meeting Day but as i hv gt to work, da gu went instead. Below are the results for the 2 kids. ** Warning: Its a lengthy one **

Lionel takes time & effort when carrying out different manipulative tasks. He exhibits body coordination when engaged in physical activities.
在图书角落里,志聪对角落里的各种书本都感兴趣。尊守规则,同时对故事里面的内容理解得很好。
Term 2 Development Milestone
Language Arts
Lionel speaks with confidence to the group and shows positives attitude. He can easily express his ideas and initiatively helps other students. He is extremely confident in his reading skills and is showing increased progress with his reading comprehension.
Maths Concepts
He is interested in learning math skills and has no difficulty remembering basic techniques. He is progressing nicely, and is showing constant improvement with his math skills. He is becoming more confident in his ability to complete word problems using 1 -digit addition.
Chinese Language
在第二学期的学习中,志聪对平时所教导的单元内容掌握得很好。上课转心,老师所发问的问题,他都能回答。在郎读三字经方面,咬字清晰,很好。继续努力。
Term 1 Development Milestone
Language Arts
Lionel is a pleasant and helpful child. Usually, he completes his assignments on time with the correct entries. he needs to pay more attention durig lessons & requires more reinforcement in recognition of words.
Maths Concepts
Lionel demostrates sound concepts in his Maths. Overall, he is a good & speedy worker. Continue to work hard, you are capable of doing better! :)
Chinses Language
志聪是个活泼聪明的孩子,喜欢音乐与律动。在进行音乐活动中表现得很好,能跟随音乐节奏做出有频律的音乐律动。在第一学期的学习中,他在郎读唐诗方面,声音响亮。上课专心,能够独立完成课堂作业。希望在今后的日子里继续努力。

在第二学期的学习中,她能认读一些华文字,能朗读儿歌和唐诗,能和小朋友好好相处,只是她发音不是很准确,做作业很慢,老师希望在新的学期里改善你的行为,好吗?
Rachel follow instructions and enjoys the music & movement.
谢佳璇在上韵律课很开心,她能配合音乐,跟着节拍做动作。

Term 1 Development Milestone

She has acquire the language pretty well & enjoys reciting nursery rhymes very much. She captures things very fast & is independent when it comes to written work.

Maths Concepts
She is good in her recognition of sizes such as big, small, tall, short.

Chinese Language
在第一学期的学习中,她上课时可以坐下来听课了,只是注意力还不够,需要加强, 能和小朋友们一起唱歌, 能和小朋友好好相处,老师希望在新的学期里能有好的进步。
