After Rachel's class, i was given a form. Rachel has been selected for pre-ballet coaching & exam. The coaching will begin in May & the exam takes place in Nov. I was a little put off by the coaching fees of $410. That is abt $70/month.

I definitely did not pay this much for c's. the fees, do they include the clothes?
no mention of clothes yet... i believe they will still be wearing the same ballet leotard... except for the skirt...polka dots kind?
is this grade 1? clothes are different from the pre-pri exam.
clothes for grade 1:
sleeveless leotard, short socks (same as pre-pri) shoes (same + character shoes which are black), skirt (black with pink stripes at the bottom)
not grade 1... this is the pre ballet/pre primary level... hehe
grade 1 for 7yo onwards?

Hmm... I think it is not age-specific. if the child started ballet at a very young age and has a flair for it, she probably would have taken her exams earlier. Usually the teacher would know if the child is ready for exams or not and would recommend that she goes for it even if she is younger than the lot. :)
