So far, Lionel has done quite well in his English spelling. There will be 1 or 2 careless mistakes but its still a good try. He will be having his last spelling on the 07 Mar 2012 before the end of Term 1 & thereafter, its a 1 week school break.
For Term 2, his weekly spelling will be scheduled on Fridays instead of the usual Wednesdays. And as usual, P1 students are only required to learn the underlined bold words and/or sentence.
Some words include: sandwiches, bommy-knocker, cucumber, slices of bread .. even numerals such as thirteen, seventeen, eighteen..
We have hippopotamus, anteater, sneezed, ice cream, breakfast, decorated, delicious, favourite, etc....
Week 7 ~ 10 ( 04/5, 11/5, 18/5 & 25/5)We came across swimming, skating, spacesuit, satellite, flutter, nibbles, tunnel, reading, collect food, slippers, etc...
