咏鹅

Mummy: Rachel was looking thru the fotos taken during her trip to the animal resort recently & came across the foto of some geese. Daddy asked her what were those & she cleverly replied: "goose".

Then she recited a poem in chinese automatically. When asked who taught her that, she replied: "大姑"

鹅，鹅，鹅
曲项向天歌
白毛浮绿水
红掌拨清波

Another poem which she knows by heart:

静夜思

窗前明月光
疑是地上霜
举头望明月
低头思故乡

Then again, whenever we go thru her counting book, she wld sing a song of a donkey cos the page wld show 3 donkeys with 3 saddles:

小毛驴

我有一只小毛驴
我从来也不骑
有一天我心血来潮
骑着去赶集
我手里拿着小皮鞭
我心里正得意
不知怎么哗啦啦啦啦
我摔了一身泥

And when we do the finger counting, she wld rather skip the lesson & start reciting another poem taught by da gu again:
