Wedding Dinner

03 Aug 2008 was the wedding dinner of Aunty Amelia & Uncle Zech (Guo Hao).
They had their holy matrimony on the 02 Aug at Kim Tian Church (Upper Serangoon Road). Mummy was unable to attend as she had the NATAS "affair" to see to. Haiz! So Mummy & Daddy attended the dinner on Sun instead. It was held at Swissotel Merchant Court. Both Daddy & Mummy were late. They arrived just before Aunty Amelia & Uncle Zech were getting ready for their grand entry. Daddy even jokingly told Mummy that they should also make their grand entry..haha.


Congrats to Aunty Amelia & Uncle Zech. May u live in matrimonial bliss & happiness always. 祝：早生贵子！

BJG VS GUG

Mummy: Let's do a comparison. (dated 30 jul 2008)

BJG: Course fees $432 for 10 weekly lessons ~ per lesson abt: $43

GUG: Course fees $378 for 9 weekly lessons ~ per lesson abt $42
Deposit $100
Registration $50
7% GST on course fees + reg $29.96

Total: $557.96

Conclusion: The 7% GST is the culprit la, otherwise GUG is much cheaper. But on the otherhand, GUG has 1 minus pt- no make lesson if u miss it. And if u see the breakdown, GUG has only 9 lessons whereas BJG has 10. What the heck!
My conclusion: Both of them abt the same la. Geez!

Confirmed!

Confirmed! Mummy got a call from GUG yesterday and was told a slot was available for me for term 5. Lessons will start on 17 Aug - 12 Oct, every Sun @ 1600 - 1730hrs. For term 6, lessons will start on 19 Oct - 14 Dec. Mummy will decide later whtr to enrol me anot cos she wanna see whtr i enjoy my lessons for term 5 first. Mummy will go down to gug later to settle the fees & registration.

Haha. Mummy will be fully packed on Sundays. Lionel will be gg to bjg in the morning, then i will be gg to gug in the afternoon. As for Genius R Us lessons, Mummy will hv to arrange it on Sats when she is not working. “辛苦了妈咪”

Waiting list at GUG

Well well well.... Mummy has decided to enrol me, the young one, into GUG for my enrichment (Daddy will surely hv something to say once he learned abt it...soon soon). But all the Parents & Babes (8 - 18 mths) classes are fully booked for term 5 & 6. So Mummy put me on waiting list; in case if other Mummies decide to pull out or if they open up new classes. Course fee @ $336 for a term of 8 lessons on a weekly basis.

** Mummy checked with GUG for Lionel kor kor too but it seems even for the bilingual play club is only meant for up till age 3.5 yrs old at most (according to the admin staff, Ms Axxxxx). So Mummy ask then for age 3yrs old, wat classes they can attend? The staff told Mummy can still enrol into the play club first & then the trainer will evaluate kor kor's progress. If not, can directly enrol him into Science classes, Early reading & writing (english) or Early reading & writing (mandarin).

Well, if meant to be, Lionel kor kor will stick with BJG tilll he graduate at the age of 5 lor. Muahahah. ** Couse fee for Kor Kor currently , for Little Runners, is $432 for 10 lessons per term, weekly basis. But as Kor Kor progress onto Little Jumpers, the fees will be much more higher. Gulp!

Lionel: Rach, u dun laugh too early. End up u might be the one to enrol & stick with BJG instead. Kekekeke...

I can stand

Hooray! I can stand. Yes, without support from the adults. I just need to hold onto something solid & stable. Its yet another milestone dat i am presenting. The next milestone i am featuring will be my ability to walk unassisted. Keke... i am learning to walk now but i am still not very stable. Mummy also says i very lazy leh...put 1 foot out, then another, then....i sit down le. Haha. And i also very yaya papaya...keke...i like to show dat i am the "winner". i climb onto boxes & wave both of my hands high up in the air, much to the shock of Mummy & Ah Ma. If i am sitting down waving my hands, then its fine. But hor.... haha....i am standing up on the boxes , unaided, waving my hands as if i am a winner. Mummy sweat!

Rachel's 1 Year Old Birthday Cake

This is my birthday cake. Mummy ordered from E-Creative @ Sun Plaza. $80 for 2kg. Its chocolate sponge cake with blueberry filling. Everyone says its nice; nt too sweet as wat some reviews say abt e-creative cakes. Why choose 'ONE' iso '1' as in the numeral 1. Mummy says 1 is too common & also i hv nt develop any interest in any specific cartoon yet, hence Mummy ordered this design for me. Nice? Keke
