Eve of Ballet Exam Open House
24 Oct 2012 (Wed):
Tomorrow will be Rache's ballet exam open house, prep talk & stuff.. Ms Wu smsed all parents to inform that the gals would have to be in their exam attire - pink leotard, polka dots skirt, socks & ballet shoes. Hair will have to be up in a bun with only black hair accessories allowed but no fanciful ones.
Mummy here has decided to tie her hair into plaits first with the help of the hair gel & spray, before gettin her hair into a bun. Below are fotos of which i asked Rachel to pose for me some of her exam moves.

Fell, Hurt & 3 Stitches..
22 Oct 2012 (Mon):
My poor princess fell on the curb while playing on Monday morning & hurt her chin. Mil bought her to the nearby clinic but the doctor claims he dosnt know how to " sew " & suggested bringing Rachel to the hospital A&E instead...
Mil bought her to another clinic & she was given 3 stitches. When i saw Rachel in the evening, I was heart broken.
But Rachel was brave; she told me when the doc gave her the 1st round of the anesthetic jab, she cried but hang on during the 2nd time. She was able to tolerate the pain of the jab & was pain free during the stitches given..
Stitches will be removed on Sat, 27 Oct once the doctor given the all clear.

CSI - Fort Canning Activity
06 Oct 2012 (Sat):
This morning, YPS organized a family fun & education activity (SFE), entitled: Crime Scene Investigation - CSI for short. Before I continue, I would like to highlight here that all photos shown below are part of the activity & in no way related to any real life events or persons. Even if there is, be it a little, some of it or most of it, they are purely coincidental & mean no harm to the living or dead.
Some characters' profile: Richard Wan - the deceased, Jessica, the detainee in the police headquarters, Albert Lim, Kenneth Goh, Ah Chek & Inspector V were some of the many other roles.
We were all detectives, trying to source the muderer & his motive & we have to look for the clues, samples to be sent for lab test, motives of each characters, etc... We were broken into 7 teams & each team has a leader.
Instead of the kids doing the activity, the parents were the ones who were running around, discussing & searching. Haha... but all of us had fun.

Our bus sets off a little late from school & the sky was showing signs of rain.
.
The briefing session by the trainers.
There were total 5 scenes altogether & we have to find clues & evidence.
Everyone has all the characters' profiles & their relation to each other.
The pretencious police headquaters where the suspect was being detained.
One of the characters' pretencious home & the clues - note: he was one of our suspect.
Finally, a group photo. We took more than 20 pictures here. :P
