National Museum

Me & Granny - listening to old grammophones

Adverts, banners, posters, newspaper cuttings of the past

Olden type of TVs

Music chord of Singapore's National Anthem - Maju La Singapura
Mummy, Granny, me & Rachel went to the National Museum of Singapore. In Mummy's words, the Images of Singapore in Sentosa is so much more interesting. The admission fees for this museum is $10 per head & car park fees is $5 per entry. Total we paid $25. Not worth the money at all.
After that, we went to the library to look at some books & to Hans for some snacks. Next,Mummy suggested Marina Barrage - The City's Reservoir located Marina South. But the carpark was full & the next available carpark was a distance away so we drove out. Granny suggested seeing the light up @ Orchard Road but both of us fell asleep so we did not get to see the decor.
We had our dinner at Selegie - again in mummy's words, not tasty. Next interesting itinerary on our agenda - Tang Yuan

Our parents "supervising" us in case we gobble our food

I love pear

Bubbles time... where am i? Behind Teacher Devi lor.. Mummy snapped on the camera just i ran away.

Here i am. Together with Ryan

I love balloons too
As i mentioned last week, tis the last GUG lesson for 2008. We were having xmas party; food, games, fun & gift exchange. The teachers numbered the gifts & we each picked a # in turn. Very very coincidentally, i picked the # 5 which was a present from Megan. Thank you Megan. And she in turn picked a # 4 which was a present from me. Haha...
A new term, new year & new lesson starts on 4 Jan 2009. Wishing all my frens & teachers a Blessed Christmas & A Wonderful New Year Ahead.

GUG lesson 8

We learned the # 9 - Teacher Aze drew 9 balloons on the board. We also learned the letters X & Y - Xavier Fox & Yancy Yak. X - box, six, axe. Y - yellow, yo-yo. I got a yo-yo drawn on my hand.

Story telling - Farm Animals with Honey Horse, Daisy Cow, xxx Duck, xxx Pig & xxx Goat (why xxx - cos i was "modelling ard" & Mummy didnt get to hear the names of the animals).

We used our hands to dabbed into colour paint again & we all did "High 5" on a piece of paper. Suppose to be the body of a turkey but with all the mess we created, ermm...it didnt look like a turkey after all. Haha... Oh ya, i didnt get back my art work that i did last week. My letter W if u remember. Mummy, pls ask from Teacher Devi next week as it will be the last lesson for the last term for year 2008. Teacher Aze will not be ard. Guess tis was why she took photo with me.

For next week lessons, we were told to dress our best as there will be no actual lessons conducted; only doing Zoo. We are gonna hv a party whereby we nid to buy a present of a budget of $10. We are doing gift exchange. Also can buy finger food & drinks to share ard. Tis the tradition of GUG as stated on the newsletter.

New sch term will begin on 2 Jan 2009. Mummy had already paid my course fees for the new term.

Mummy still tinking whtr to buy the Zoo Phonics Package so that i can learn my zoo.

All alone....no one to look after our belongings.

Wat's so interesting down below? Look here la.

Tis better but there's still someone who is not looking...

Yun Hwee, Ying Xuan, Vicky & me.

The cousins: (from left) - Jing Yi, Yun Hwee, Ying Xuan, Alexis, Tong Shiuan, Me & Vicky. (minus Rachel, Jia Xing & Jia Yi)

The bride who is sharing our shelter (cos its raining). I am so shy!
Its a last min decision. Mummy asked me if i wanna go Sentosa & i say yes. So Mummy hastily packed my belongings & we spent a day at Sentosa. We left the house at abt 10am & left Sentosa at abt 5pm.
Seems that whenever we are at Sentosa, it always rain. One min, its so hot & sunny, the next min, wet, windy & rainy. Mummy only allowed me to spent not more than 30mins inside the waters cos she is afraid i will fall sick. And then she will "kenna" from Ah Ma! So when the others went into the waters again after the rain has stopped, Gu Po & I went for coconut hunt. Gu Po took 2 coconuts, tied them together & told Tong Shuian to use them as floats to learn swimming. Haha!.
It was indeed a fun filled day. The adults decided on another trip & i tink its gonna be very soon. True enuff, Er Gu Gu sms Mummy suggesting another trip on 27 Dec. But then, we gonna hv chalet on the 2-4 Jan 2009. No point in gg Sentosa just 1 week prior to the chalet. We'll see how.
