Perfect Lettering

The last time i did for my homework was 05 Apr on the letter D. Then i fell sick & cldnt concentrate. I began doing again only on the 15 Apr, continuing on letter E. So far i did till letter S yesterday, 28 Apr. Soon i will complete my letterings & start on colours.

Mummy: We were doing the letter S yesterday evening & on his book, i was going thru with him each individual word beginning with the letter S (above) & getting him to recite to me the alphabets. I will point to him the individual letters & he is suppose to read to me correctly. Then after, he is suppose to say the whole word.

On the book, there is this qn: Where is this place? By looking at the picture, you can tell that this place is a beach. So L has to write & spell the word B E A C H.
I was half expecting him to look at me with those innocent looking eyes & telling me softly that he doesnt know hw to write the individual letters. So before he can open his mouth, asking me for help, i told L that if he doesnt know hw to write the letters, flipped thru his exercises & refer.

He suprised me by writing each individual letter correctly & perfectly. He didnt even refer. I only recite to him the letters that made up the word B E A C H. Can u see in the picture?
Bravo Lionel. You did a great job.

Not again...

R & myself together with 2 of our cousins, V & A were all down with illnesses. Yes! Again! " Not again?!?! " The adults were shaking their heads.

First, it was A, then followed by myself & V, then R. A was down with diahorrea & fever. Suspected teething problems. Then V & myself was simultaneously infected by vomitting & fever due to bad digestion. We threw out watever we ate or drink. Then R came down with fever & tummy ache. Mummy checked our hands, foot & mouth very regularly. Even our palms & soles were scrutinized frequently. Why? The ever green HFMD lor...

Mummy: Hmmm...speaking of HFMD, not sure if V & A's mum did the neccessary precaution anot. S, if u are readin this, better be safe than sorry.

All these happen last week. Luckily for myself & R, we recovered quite fast. Non stop medication for 2 days. Temperature taken on 23 & 24 April.

23 Apr -
2pm: L-38.4 R-37.8
4.30pm: L-39.0 R-38.1
10.30pm: L-36.4 R-37.2

24 Apr -
1.30am: L-35.8 R-36.9
8.30am: L-36.3 R-36.9
10pm: L-36.4 R-36.9

R recovered fully while i was still having minor throat inflammation. Thus, i cannot eat anything heaty & i also cannot eat too much. Mummy remembered the TV talk show abt using green bean water to replace paracetamol, so she tried. Both of us drank the water 2 -3 times per day. I tink it helps lor cos our temp range fall back to its normal level quite fast, unlike last time, it usually takes a few days before the temp level falls back.

See the amt of medication both of us had over the week. Sometimes, we also share share cos we had the same illness. I think the clinics ard CP area were all covered by us already. All hv our records. Haha...

And it seems, V has not recovered at all. One virus leads to another. Over the weekend, it seems she was in pain & feeling very uncomfy. So today, she was not allowed to go to sch. For me, i went back to class but mummy ask me not to eat my lunch in sch so i left sch at 11.30am.

New Generation

We went along the CTE, not knowing where to go for dinner. Daddy said he remembered a place in Serangoon selling seafood dishes for as cheap as $3-$4 per plate.

But as we go along, daddy wondered out loud " Serangoon...Hougang...or izit Sengkang.... " FAINT! lol

We ended up somewhere along Upper Serangoon when mummy thot she saw a banner stating: Every Seafood Dishes $2.50. But becos daddy was whisking past quite fast, mummy did not see clearly. So daddy made a u-turn & we saw that its: Every Seafood Dishes $5.20.

We complained that we were very hungry so daddy quickly parked the car & we had our dinner at this place.

We ordered 1 seafood beancurd - 什锦海鲜豆腐, 1 pork with ginger & onion - 姜葱肉片, 1 Cereal Prawn - 麦片虾 & 1 Steamed Tilapia - 港蒸红鱼. But honestly la, IOMPO ( in our most personal opinion), food is nt dat tasty. And the food is not hot at all when served. The only tasty dish was the cereal prawns. Total $$ spent: $28.60 inc 7% GST.

Mummy: Both kids finished 1 bowl of rice each. 3 cheers! :)

New Generation Kitchen - 新时代南北小厨

Daddy: Dun take my foto...just take R.

While waiting for seats...quite crowded.

Banner stating: Every Seafood Dishes $5.20+

Already seated down

I can eat on my own...dun believe? will show u later

Opps! Sleepy already?

Daddy ordering the food

See, i know how to hold a fork & a spoon.

Got u...who says i cant take ur foto, daddy?

R showing she can eat on her own :P

Up / Seven

Mummy: R has learned a new word - UP. She will said this when she is going up the staircase or when she is trying to jump. Love to hear her saying the word over & over again. UP, UP, UP...

And hor, i tink she is trying to say the word "seven" Cos whenever i do counting with her, after the no. six (6), she will sort of say seven. Not very accurate though but you can distinguishly hear - s a p e n.

Daddy taught her " SEDIYA" / " 立正 ". Means attention, to stand straight. R will puff out her chest, put her hands down beside her whenever she hears this word. Hilarious to see her doing this. But if u ask her to do too many times, she will ignore you.

L has also learned more vocab & sentences. He can say longer sentences since the beginning of this year. Compare to last year, he only said:
" Mummy, police car".

Now, its:
" Mummy, there is a police car over there. The police catch bad people. See, the police car go already".

He can, even at times argue with me. Sometime i wld play a trick on him saying he causes the fish to die. He rebuked by saying:
" You bluff one. I never kill the fish. You anyhow say. I tell Daddy".

Hahahaha.....

Little HDB ' Tai Tai '

See my little HDB ' tai tai '? On a particular morning, on the way to sch, L & R pose for my camera. Look at the little vainpot wearing pink with a matching hat & a hand-bag in tow. (cant see the bag but the white handles on her arm are visible)

She looks as though someone is telling her the agenda for the day, from the way she glances towards her side.

She's been "behaving" like this the past few days; going everywhere with her bag & hat. Does she really resembles a tai tai (rich woman)? :P

The only missing item - a pair of sunglasses.

GUG

Mummy paid the fees for another term with GUG yesterday. She was reluctant in the first place, having many negative factors bothering her. But in the end, she still paid for it. I gt a feeling mummy wld make this new term my final term with GUG.

We learned P - Pee Wee Penguin, together with pasta, pear & potato. We did potato salad & ate them. I did not really like the taste & after 1 -2 mouth, i spit it out. Maybe its the taste of the mayo or the taste of paprika.

Since this lesson is the last lesson for term 2, its also the last lesson for many of my frens. Some decided to stop for 1 term; taking a break, some requested to transfer to another class, some stopped totally. I tink only left myself, Crystal & Clasrrise continuing.

The teachers for today were teacher Marianne & teacher Naz. No story telling, no music; classes getting a little boring.

We did a little game though. Instead of musical chair, we had musical potato. We passed the potato around & when the music stops, the person who gt the potato will hv to stand up. Teacher Naz wld then hold up a zoo phonic letter & we are expected to say the sound of the letter.

**************************************
Daddy called us & told mummy that L wanna go fishing again. So Daddy came to pick us up & we head off to the big drain again. Daddy bought along some bread but i tink the fishes know daddy is coming; all went into hiding, only left some babies. The bread flows along the river but none gt eaten.

****************************************
In the evening, daddy & mummy went to Mediacorp Travel Fiesta. Daddy wanted to look at some itineraries for Aug/Sep departures but most travel agencies only hv their prices till Jun.

They spent only about half an hr & were abt to exit when something from CTC caught their eyes. They saw a poster on some good for value deals. Ready?

How abt a package dat costs only $198 per person for:
3D 2N Hong Kong + 3D 2n Bangkok + 3D 2N Kuala Lumpur

Another package dat costs only $298 per person:
3D 2N Bali + 3D 2N Koh Samui + 3D 2N Phuket

A third one for only $98 per person:
2N Genting + 1N Kuala Lumpur

" Sure or not" was mummy's first words. They read on. Remember, do not missed out those tiny captions at the bottom of each itinerary. Ahem, chey.... all above prices quoted DO NOT include transportation fares, example, airfare, coaches, etc. Its only hotel stay, airport transfers & daily breakfast for some packages.

Imagine you buy the 1st package for example, you gt to buy your own air ticket from Singapore - Hong Kong - Bangkok - KL - Singapore, or depending which country u wanna go first. Wa, like that hor, will cost u a bomb.

After saying so much, daddy felt dat is quite worth purchasing the last deal; 2N Genting & 1N KL for $98 per person. We can choose to go anytime of the year, subject to room availability & also not hitting the peak season for Genting. Daddy will be driving up, dat's y we can save on the coach fare in a way. And at least, its our own free time to decide when to go up to Genting or when to come down from Genting. Becos, if u booked the coach, u hv to follow a fix scheduled time.

Yippee! Another holiday coming...

Pluto is lost

Mummy: I realise L has feelings & emotions. I mean not those emotions when u are scolded or beaten & u yelled or cried but rather, like when u watched sad movies, your tears just seems to flow freely.

We were watching some Mickey Classics & Pluto was lost in 1 of the story. Mickey ran ard calling out for Pluto but couldnt find him. In the end, Mickey was so sad that he couldnt eat nor sleep.

I happened to be clearing up some toys just in front of L when i turned to look at him. I was shocked. Why is he crying? What happened? Did he hurt himself?
I asked L why he cry. He did not answer me. I told Daddy to hv a look at him. Daddy asked L why he cry also. L replied: " Pluto lost. Mickey sad. "

Aww....

Fish Heaven

Maybe its becos our hse's 风水is no good or its becos the tank's water temperature is not in flavor or its becos, becos, becos....watever.

All our fishes do not seem to survive for long. Remember my 1st trip to Bottle Tree Village for long kang fishing? Well, after daddy helped me to transfer them into our fish tank, they all died within the night. All of them left us & went to the fish heaven.

Then daddy brought home some goldfish from the fish shop, 2 blacks ones & 4 orange coloured ones. They too, died within 2 days of coming home.

Then those fishes which daddy caught from MacRitchie Trails also died & joined their frens in fish heaven.

Daddy "buay kam wan". Why all the fishes one by one die like that? We went to the fish shop last night again & buy 6 鲤鱼. Mummy "suan" daddy, saying in 2 days' time....the fishes will all report to fish heaven again. Daddy say "choy".

Let's see....counting down...

13 Apr: Home coming / night survival
14 Apr: As of 6.30pm, the fishes are still suviving.

Fishies

Back dated post

After my "catch" at Bottle Tree Village, daddy's interest in fishes is gathering speed again. Twice he bot me to this big drain to fish but becos its always raining, hence the water is too deep, we did not get to fish.

Then last Fri, PH (Good Friday) 09 Apr 2009, daddy came back after work & brought us to this big drain again. He said he's just been there earlier in the day & saw many huge fishes. Thus, he decided to bring us there to try our luck.

Mummy wondered where this so called big drain was & was surprised to find daddy driving into the stretch of road leading onto MacRitchie Reservoir, from Upper Thomson.

Mummy: "Huh? Here where got pond or drain? Dun tell me u wanna fish from the reservoir? Ay...its illegal leh"

Daddy: "Aiyo, u very lor suo leh. Wait u see la" ( Lionel giggling behind)

Oh....so here's the trick. Walk in from the carpark leading into MacRitchie Trails. Hehe....

See my little fishing net. Tis the same net i gt from Bottle Tree Village 'long kang" fishing.
Rachel is excited too.

The big net daddy brought along.

At the carpark, watching daddy fished. The drain is too muddy & deep, so therefore its dangerous for us to go down.

Me & Rachel. See Rachel's cheeky face.

MacRitchie Trails Signage

Hooray! Daddy caught some fishes. I gt the honour of transferring the fishes into my little fish tank.

The long winding drain.

面包

Mummy: I was walking with Rachel around CP, pointing out to her the various lil things like the different kind of fruits, birds that we see, toys, etc. For example, we passed by the $1 shop selling all sorts of toys, titbits & games, stationeries, party stuff, etc. Rachel pointed out to the big aerobic ball hanging from the ceiling. So i say 'ball' / '球', then she pointed out some books, so i say 'books' / '书' so on & so forth.

We went on along the way, passing by the store selling fruits. I will also point out the various kind of fruits with its name in english & chinese. I will asked her to show me where are the different fruits & she will point to me correctly.

What surprised me is that while passing by the bakery shop, she pointed out to the bread & immediately says " 面包" loud & clear. The aunty even say" wa, so clever. you know how to say 面包 ar". I looked at her, requesting her to repeat what she just said. I point to the bread again & asked her: "这个是什么?" She replied: " 面包".

My 小皮蛋 is finally talking.

Naughty Chair

Both Rachel & I have a personal space whenever we are naughty, be it at home or at the shop. Whenever either of us misbehave, either da gu or xiao gu ( depending who we made angry) will sent us to our own personal chair.

This is an area at a corner with no toys to play with, no books to read, no TV to watch. It can be any corner inside the shop or at any corner if it is at home. We are not allowed to do anything except to sit within the restricted area & 面壁思过.

Even if we cry out loud for help, no one are allowed to come over & "save" us. The more we cry & fuss, the longer the punishment time. For me, becos i am older & sometimes my mistakes are bolder & more terrible, da gu or siao gu can made me sit on the naughty chair for at least 20mins to half an hour. Yeah...i tink so far my record is half an hour.

Once, mummy remembered, i argue with ah ma at home & i cannot accept her reasoning. I fought, shouted, yelled & even hit ah ma. Da gu immediately sent me to sit on the naughty chair. Of cos, i refused. I kicked, pushed, struggled. I did all sort of stunts i could think of. But still no use. I was being lugged & ended up on the naughty chair. Da gu told me if i still screamed & yelled, i can consider sitting there thru the night. This made me stopped crying & i ended up whining. I called for help. I whinced for mummy who was sitting nearby. Da gu warned mummy not to go over. Mummy looked at me, helpless. I think she felt the pain eventhough she was not the one punishing me. No one is allowed to help me. Even when 四叔公 came to ah ma's hse & saw me being punished, he called out to me asking me to go over so he can sayang me. Da gu immediately said: " Dont u even dare think about it. Sit down & keep quite. Think on what u hv done wrong". And she in turn also told 叔公:" You dun come & disturb. He did wrong & ought to be punished". After what seems like centuries, i am allowed to come out & i ran to mummy, crying. Mummy hugged me & explained to me what i hv done wrong & shouldnt i go & apologise to ah ma. I went over to ah me & say sorry in a low voice. Xiao gu told me to apologise louder so that everyone can hear. I stared at xiao gu with those kind of " i already apologise to ah ma, still cannot meh" look. Xiao gu stared back at me, asking izit i wanna go back to my naughty chair. Mummy told me to apologise to ah ma sincerely. This time, my tears had already started to flow again. Ah ma said:" okay la okay la, stop crying la". Xiao gu said ah ma "spoil me".

For Rachel, as she is still young, sometimes she does not realise what she've done wrong so her punishment time might be shorter. Just recently. she was caught playing with water. Ah ma gave her some water to drink & she was splashing the water onto the floor instead of drinking. After repeatedly telling her NOT to do so, she still continue. So xiao gu asked da gu to bring out the naughty chair. Mummy wondered if Rachel knows wat's happening & will kuai kuai sit on the chair meh. To her surprise, Rachel actually knows that she had been naughty & thus hv to be punished. She sat on the chair willingly, although she sulked la. At first, she stand at her own corner & sort of imitate spiderman by trying to climb up the cupboard ( legs in action only) but once da gu told her to sit down & stopped playing, she immediately sat down. She only cried for a few seconds prior & was quiet thru out the punishment. She did not made any efforts to try & get off her chair which to mummy was....surprising. After abt 10 mins, da gu told her:" Okay, u can come out now". The first thing she did was to run to mummy and sat down on her lap. Da gu explained to Rachel why she was punished & asked if she wanna be naughty again or not. Rachel shooked her head & proceed to climb onto mummy & expect a koala bear hug which of cos, mummy did la.

In our own house, we do not have any naughty corner or chair. Our punishment is via the cane. Mummy is seriously considering imposing a naughty corner in our own house but where? In the hall, we will be able to watch TV. In the room, we hv our toys to play with. Daddy suggested the kitchen; no TV, no toys. Good idea, mummy says. Mummy told the both if us saying she wanna see who will break the record of having the honours to sit in our own naughty corner in our own house first. No prize but it will be a first ever memory. :P

Bone Review

Today, mummy brought me to KK for my review. My cast was removed, my arm x-rayed & the specialist seen me. My bone is healing very well. According to the x-ray, my bone structure is still intact & the crack had healed.

The doctor told mummy if i hv another fall & seriously injured the same part of my arm, my bone might be fractured. So must be very careful.

And hor, i tink mummy forgot to pay for the x-ray services cos after receiving the x-ray report from the doc, mummy gt a call from daddy who was waiting outside (daddy came late), & they proceed to the doctor's room. They only paid the consultation fees which was $39.

Mummy did not realised until daddy wondered aloud why the fees so cheap. Haha....not to worry. Mummy is sure KK will send her a bill on the x-ray report if payment is needed. Anyway, i hv to go back for another review on 21 May. Maybe i will be asked to pay for it on that day. Or if Mummy did rcv the bill, will also settle on that day lor.

Tagged

Mummy: Been tagged by Irene ( Wenz & Denz's mum) to chitter chatter on: 6 Random Things About Myself. These tag games were a craze back then. Nearly & almost everyone who has a blog wld get tagged by their frens & in turn tagged back. I hv almost forgotten how to play. (so shall copy Irene's method :P )

The Rules:

1) Link the person who tagged you.

2) Post the rules on your blog

3) Write 6 random things about yourself

4) Tag 6 people at the end of your post & link them

5) Let each of them know that they've been tagged & leave a comment on their blog

6) Let the tagger know when ur entry is up.

6 Random Things About Myself:-

** I love travelling. Anywhere in the world. From very hot places like India to very cold places like Har'bin ( China). Give me the $$ & i will travel for you.

** Watching movies. But its too expensive to watch movies in the cinema now. Min. ticket price $7.50-$8.50 (weekdays). I remembered last time used to be only $3.50. Haha. So i think buying VCDs/DVDs are a better choice. You get to watch over & over again & only pay 1 time.

** Used to & still do dream abt being a teenage magazine cover girl or ya know, model, singer but fat chance on that happening to me. I dun hv the X factor, the looks or even the figure. But dreams are fair to everyone right? Who in the world do not have dreams or do not/unable to dream? Now that i hv 2 kids, can i dream about being "星妈"?

** I love fun; do not like to work. Love to be at ease; do not like pressure & stress. Even at work, i like to hv be given the freedom to complete my work & not stress me up by asking for this NOW or that NOW. Of cos, i will not pile my work up cos i know work can never be finished. Its my work; i will do it means i will do it.

** Collecting my favourite Forever Friends bear. However, its very expensive to collect them all. Some of them are on sale for a limited period only & they do even hv limited edition. Hb always lament why do i go for the expensive ones & nt those 'not so expensive' ones like beanies?

** Spending time with hb & my 2 kids. Taking snapshots of them & blogging abt it. I'm getting old & my memory's fading. Haha....Its a great way to destress & at least leaving a long lifetime memory for my kids when they grow up. They can show it to their kids who in turn show it to theirs who in turn......... as long as blogger stays on the web.

Hurray! Work done! So now, i will hv the drums rolling & see who's the lucky ones who'll get a kiss from me.

Lionel is sick

After eating the biscuits 舅公 bot for me yesterday, i fell sick. I started vomiting & developing a fever. Truth is i hv already gt a throat infection a few days back. Mummy hv already bot me to see a doc but the doc say since i gt no pain & no fever, there isnt a need to prescribe any medication. The imflamation will go away in a few days.

However, i agitate the imflamation by eating the biscuits so i hv to suffer in the end. Mummy scolded me for not listening; i insisted on eating when the adts advised me not to do so. Haiz.

Whatever i ate, i throw up. Yes, even water, i cannot hold it down in my stomach. Since i do not feel well. i slept in ah ma's place last night. And this morning, ah ma told mummy & daddy i was vomiting non stop till 4am. And obviously, i did not go school today. Mummy & Daddy also saw that Vicky did not go school too. Ah ma said that Vicky also suffering the same as what happened to me. Aiyo....all of us are sick. Me, Vicky & Alexis.

大姑 bot the 2 of us to see a doc & we were prescribe with 3 different kinds of medication. Rachel followed mummy home for her morning nap as there were nt enuff strollers to share. Imagine having all 3 kids sleeping everywhere in & ard the shop. And Alexis kept wanting ah ma to carry her.

And hor, mummy also kenna flu, minor diahorrea & headache. Ah ma shake head; she was feeling so tired cos i kept all of them awake last night.

Hopefully, we will all recover soon.

Daily Homework

Like i said, Mummy will be setting for me a daily routine after receiving my report for last term. So she bought for me this nursery assessment book for me to do; one page every night. It can be matching objects, colouring, numbering, etc... Mummy found this quite useful as it also provides teaching tips for teachers & adults on additional exercises for us which of cos, Mummy did la. And she says no skipping of pages & choosing. We will go page by page every evening. Mummy will guide me thru the exercises first & then i will do by myself.

Nursery Jumbo Book that teaches English, Maths - Numbers, Addition & Subtraction, length & weight ( which is heavier/lighter, taller/shorter, longer/shorter, etc) & Science. Hmmm....science? Not those secondary science but close. It teaches stuff like our senses, living & non-living things, plants & animals.

The 1st page i did on Thurs evening (2/4/09)- teaching the letters A & a & their matching objects that begins with the letter A

The letter B & b which i did for Fri evening (3/4/09)

The letter C & c done on Sat evening (4/4/09). This time round, i need to match the wordings on th left to the correct pic on the right
Mummy: Here i hv given him extra exercise on using a pencil & ruler to help him to learn to draw straight lines. Otherwise, his head will never find the tail. :) This will be done also on a daily routine.
D & d for Sun evening ( 5/4/09). I hv to identify the letter d in each word & circle them.

GUG lessons

Skipping a lesson, attending the next, then skipping again.... mummy lost count of the lesson #. Anyway, i hv attended the last lesson on 29 Mar & again yesterday 4 Apr. But hor...i may hv to skip next week lesson cos i am going tomb sweeping ( 扫墓)

Poor mummy gettin older already; her memory fading. She cannot remember what we learnt on 29 Mar. ( Lucky gt this blog to help her jot down our childhood).

So we will skip last week's lesson & move to the lesson conducted yesterday, shall we?

We learnt the # six (6) & the letter N - Nigel Nightowl, noodles, night, numbers. We also did art work. We were given yellow & red paint to colour all over our paper & we use noodles to stick all over the paper. Oh ya...teacher Naz on mc so teacher Marianne took over & we also hv a chinese teacher, 吕老师 joining us. She taught us a mandarin song - 小白兔请客 which i think only mummy knows hw to sing the song cos she was the only one singing & humming along.

During break, we all shared our food by passing ard. Mummy says i so " tam chiak" (greedy) :P

Oh.....the only thing mummy remembered for last week's lesson is that we hv daddy ferrying us to & fro United Sq. 很难得! Cheers to daddy.

Vision Test VS Bottle Tree Village

Yesterday, mummy bot me to Yishun Polyclinic for my 4 yrs old assessment check-up cum vision test. Our appointment is at 2pm. We arrived abt 1.55pm & registered at the counter. While waiting for our no. to be called, mummy ask if i am interested to go " long kang" fishing. I said yes. So mummy says we will go after my check up.

Mummy: since today is his actual birthday, i thot of spending some time with my little one. Just me & him, having a little fun. Since hb has to work, i bot him to some nearby place where he can hv a little fun & bottle tree village is an idea place where he can also do some "long kang" fishing.

My 4 yrs assessment is alright. I am able to do all those required studies as listed in my health booklet except drawing body parts & urine control in the night. The doctor mentioned dats it normal. Mummy told the doc we are still doing trial & error. Height & weight taken: 103cm/15.2kg.

For my vision test, i am able to read all the letters until the 3rd row from the bottom using both eyes. She praised me for being able to know how to read all letters from A - Z. The nurse asked me to wear a special made spectacles with 1 side covered so that i am reading with 1 eye at a time. Mummy heard the nurse saying something abt "6 9" & dat my eyesight is normal. She also asked mummy whtr are both the parents wearing spects & mummy said yes. So the nurse says cannot expect too much. ( means in time to come, i might hv to wear spects lor)

The nurse asked mummy if she wld like to hv another round of test done for me again or not. She informed mummy dat next year when i am in K1, the sch shd hv a vision test done for all students. But that is next year so mummy agreed with the idea of another round of vision test for me. My next appt is in Oct.

After my check up, we went to Bottle Tree Village for "long kang" fishing. We paid $10; a net & a tank given as well. Last time, Mummy says the price is abt duno $12 or $15; now only $10. And best, no time limit. At least, no time limit
for me.

There was another boy at the pond & he caught alot of fishes using the mini net. He's abt 10-11 yrs old & he caught all the fishes by himself. Adults are nt allowed into the pond so mummy says she will teach me hw to catch first & then i can go & "get wet".

The father of the other boy told mummy to let me fish inside the corner pond as that area is smaller so the fishes cannot swim away too far. Haha...wat a good idea.

After catching only "air" for a period of time, mummy offered to help me. Mummy squat along the side of the pond & proceed to trapped the fishes into a corner & scoop up in a fast motion. Presto! One fish caught. Mummy hurriedly transfer it into the tank provided. Another one...and another one.....one more....a black one....another red one.....

After 1.5 hrs, mummy asked me whtr i had enough. I said yes. I went to the washing area & washed myself up. Mummy bot another extra set of clothings for me & i changed into those. I had fun!
