The meaning of Lionel is Lion. No special reason why Mummy choose tis name for me. Maybe Mummy hope i can be like a lion when i grow up, strong, mighty & "king of the jungle" Hehe...

2nd choice is Kyle but Mummy dunno how to pronouce. Sounds like Kay Le but dunno whtr correct or wrong. In case if wrong pronouciation, then cham lor...i'll be made a laughing stock...my frens & teachers may nt know hw to call me. Mummy found tis name from the website & it seems the popularity is very high, especially in the States.

As for sister Rachel, the meaning is Ewe - female sheep. Mummy find tis name gentle & sweet. Dats' how sister should be lor... Pssstt...Mummy's 2nd choice is Florence but if u call out Florence Seah.. the cccc & ssss sound combination very hard to pronounce, like must pause in the middle.

Haha. Here's a joke...me a lion, sis a sheep. A lion will EAT the sheep!

Initially, Mummy wanted to name bb sister Melody but Auntie Amelia (Mummy's fren - wedding bells ringing soon) say want tis name for her dotter in future so Mummy say ok lor...reserve the name for Auntie Amelia & name sis "Rachel" instead.

Rachel Seah

Today Daddy & Mummy discussed abt sis name. Mummy ask Daddy whtr Ah Ma tink of a name for sis anot. Daddy say hv nt. Ah Ma say must follow 家 普。For me, my generation is Zhi （志）, so Ah Ma name me Zhi Cong （志 聪）。For sis, becos, 大 伯 (eldest uncle - daddy's cousin) dotter, Jia Xin （佳 欣 妹 妹） is Jia, so Ah Ma say to follow also.

So Mummy say can name sis 佳 萱 or 佳 恩。 She find this 2 names nice. Daddy also say 佳 恩
nt bad. Daddy jokingly say maybe 佳 倩 ($$), 佳 莹 (win) also can but Mummy say "siao"。

So Mummy write out the name 谢 佳 恩 in chinese & count the strokes; 35 stroke in total. Cos Ah Ma say must base on the strokes & the 5 elements also...chim ar! Wood, Gold, Water, Fire, Earth. (木 金 水 火 土)


Mummy will go tell Ah Ma. See whtr ah ma can say can or cannot.

The Meaning of Family

F A M I L Y ====== FATHER AND MOTHER I LOVE YOU

A little history on my sis, Rachel. She like me, was not conceived in Singapore. Mummy said, if she count back, Rachel was conceived while in Shanghai. (i was conceived in Qingdao).

When Mummy msg Daddy abt being pregnant with Rachel, Daddy couldnt believe it. She told Daddy not to tell anyone yet until the pregnancy was stable (ie: at least 3 mths later). But Daddy couldnt wait & told the whole kampong people.

When Mummy was abt 7.5 weeks old with Rachel, she bled. (tis happen to me also; when i was also at 8 weeks old, mummy found herself bleeding). Daddy brought Mummy to KK & did a check up. Doc found 2 egg sacs & thot it to be twins. However, since its till in the early stage of pregnancy, the twins (if there is) cannot be confirm yet.

A the next check up, Mummy was told the 2 egg sacs found were not twins. One of them to be confirm with sis Rachel inside; the other one was only a blood clot. Mummy was a little disappointed; but happy & relief dat Rachel was confirmed & stable.

Bit by bit, sis grew. Now Mummy is in her 3rd trimester ; approx 29-30 weeks. Next time up, will have another growth scan on sis.

Ohhhh...i cant wait to see bb Rachel... Will update u again. See ya!

Today. mummy told me bb Rachel has been kicking mummy the whole day, even playing the "rollar coaster" game...Actually mummy very relief cos yest no movements from sis at all or very very minimum....

Mummy's first blog creation

Halo...my name is Lionel Seah. I will be sharing tis blog with my sis, Rachel, arriving into tis world in Jul 2007...i was born on April 2005, at KKH, weighing only a 2.5kg, comin into mummy's arms at abt 0446hrs. Daddy was also there..i saw him..cooing at me...the heck with all his ga ga goo goo....like i understand...


Hehe...tis is Mummy's first blogging...she blur blur. Hope she will manage
